#630 – Worshiping With Students

worship-hands

Long nights at camp lead to short blog posts.

Some of my best nights, though, have been long nights and last night wasn’t any different.

I’ve had a great week at camp. No one got seriously injured. Our students had great attitudes. God worked in many lives.

There were a lot of great moments through this week at camp but last night was definitely a highlight. I love worshiping God through music but found out I love it even more when surrounded by our students. Pressed against the front of the stage in a sea of people, I lifted my hands in unison with my students. I shouted out my songs to God but my voice was drowned out by the voices of the students around me.

I loved hearing their voices praising and worshiping God. Even though it was a long night, I still went to bed with a smile on my face as their voices echoed through my ears and my soul.
